Femcon®
Involuntary urinary leakage, a vital problem of many women who have given birth. Femcon vaginal cones have been found to strengthen the pelvic floor and improve urinary incontinence!Incontinence
DefinitionUrinary stress incontinence, which is the primary indication of Femcon
vaginal cones, is defined as involuntary, automatic loss of urine during
physical exertion such as coughing, sneezing, running, stair climbing and
laughter. Urinary stress incontinence is a disorder which occurs almost
exclusively in women who have given birth to one or more children.
Recent investigations show that child birth causes partial damage to
the nerves of the pelvic floor musculature. With time, this damage
frequently leads to a progressive attenuation of the pelvic floor
musculature, which then can no longer keep the urethra closed against
the bladder.
Urine is leaked without there being an urge to urinate. What can be done to prevent this?
Continuous pelvic floor exercises during pregnancy under the guidance of a midwife. After the lochial phase (childbirth), direct training with Femcon vaginal cones for the strengthening and recovery of the over-stretched pelvic floor musculature. Just 10 minutes twice daily are already sufficient.
Methods for treating existing urinary stress incontinenceWhen using Femcon, involuntary urine leakage can be eliminated in 60% to 70% of all cases within a few weeks, so that in many cases surgery can be avoided, particularly in perimenopausal women.
Measures after surgeryPost-surgical results can be maintained over a longer period of time and can even be partially improved with Femcon, because of its strengthening effect on the pelvic floor musculature.
