SomnoGuard, quality made in Germany, is protected by the utility patent no. DE20 018 772 and the E.U. patent no. EP 1 203 570.
The development of SomnoGuard had been initiated by several years of clinical research with another prefabricated one-part oral predecesor appliance.
Our well-proven SomnoGuard has the following specific features:
- Easy fitting within minutes, preferably by physicians or their trained staff
- Clinical efficacy well proven by several clinical trials with success rates between 50 to 80% in reducing snoring and RDI (i.e. Respiratory Disturbance Index).
- Normally very well tolerated. Minor and temporary side effects refer mainly to hypersalivation and morning discomfort
- Average life of about one year
