SomnoGuard AP Pro is an individually fabricated mandibular advancement appliance.

The SomnoGuard AP Pro can easily be constructed from common acrylic elastomeric thermoform dental materials in any dental lab after taking impressions of the lower and upper jaws and producing plaster models. The components, which are made of stainless steel, are used to connect the upper and lower trays of the dental appliance enabling the infinite advancement of the lower jaw. The components' technology is based on the preceding development of the SomnoGuard AP. The components are very durable, more or less indestructable, inexpensive and can most often be re-used when the oral appliance has to be re-made for some reason. 

As well as the advantages of the SomnoGuard AP, the dental device SomnoGuard AP Pro provides the additional benefit that even patients with missing teeth or dentures can wear it.

We supply the metal components for the fabrication of the SomnoGuard AP Pro only to dentists and dental labs.

 

*  The metal attachments consist of stainless steel made by Thyssen Krupp and corresponding to steel grade no. 1,4301 (AISI-no. 304) and DIN EN 10088-1. Chemical composition usually complies with: 

C < 0.07 wt%, Cr 17.0 - 19.5 wt%, Ni 8.0 - 10.5 wt% und N < 0.11 wt%, Si < 1.0 wt%, Mn < 2.0 wt% .
